I am confused as to how anyone in here thinks it is a false ban after they said they verbally abused, used engine assistance, cheated in Vote Chess, sandbagged, had multiple accounts, etc etc which are all against the ToS: https://www.chess.com/legal/community

This isn't a case of them doing action R and being silenced on A-Q. This is a case of them doing ABCGHKMNORVWZ and being silenced on A-Z, which is completely fair.

It's no surprise that you were banned after all that. And I was thinking I was a little harsh on you.

This is just you saying, "I've been a terrible community member but I like my account so please unban me."

My verbal abuse was mild, with no language/straight-up harassment, I only used engine assistance in the past, I didn't cheat in vote chess (I tried voting bad moves that never were played only once and I can link the game to show), I wouldn't call what I did sandbagging at all as it wasn't intended to get in a tournament or win with ease against lower-rated players, and alt accounts are usually ignored unless they are used for rating abuse/manipulation.

You can't possibly want that old account, just play legit here, and have an idea of how good you really are.  Thing is you will face people who did what you did as well, so don't take the rating seriously.  No one is holy.  I sandbagged to be on a level where I feel I am playing humans, as the level I was at seemed like cheater fest.  If they ban this account, I'll be back, and will not sandbag as I will stay in the under 1000 range and never let my rating pop out above it so I can keep the account, and play humans who aren't using engines for the most part.  I can hide it well if I need to later.  Play like I normally do for about 20 to 25 moves, make an intentional blunder, and resign.  How can they say that I did that illegitimately? Those blunders are common at under 1000, and the other guy gets a nice win to feel good about.  1300 to 1400 these guys are playing at 98% accuracy in every game, and that is not realistic to me.  With that kind of accuracy they are playing at about 2600 OTB.  I never play people in real life who play with that kind of accuracy, and would like to enjoy the game instead of playing the 1400 GM.  So yeah I am guilty of sandbagging, so what.  I'll create another account and come back, it is pointless to keep banning accounts except for those who are using computer assistance.  I am still using my head, and not using a chess engine, so what's the problem?

My friend had like 6 acc over the span of four months I used to play him all the time he closed all of them tho then kept an acc for 1 1/2 years so I think it’s fine if you have acc’s but you have to close them. Close those acc I believe in you.
