I've written lots of programs similar to this.
I've also written lots of PGN utility programs. If you e-mail me a sample of what the two LDB and LDX look like, I can attempt this. (As long as I can figure out and parse the format of the database, the rest of it is a snap.)
My homepage is listed in my profile, and my e-mail address is mentioned at the bottom of the homepage.

Does anybody know of an application to batch extract the PGN files from A LokaSoft ChessPartner database?
The games are saved by ChessPartner in a database. A LokaSoft ChessPartner database is a combination of 2 files, LDB and LDX. I would like to batch extract the PGN files contained in a database without going through the tedious process of extracting and copying games one by one.
Presently you have to:
Open a game in ChessPartner
Go To the Standard Toolbar
Click Edit, on the drop menu -> Click Copy Game
Open Notepad
Click Edit, on the drop menu -> Click Paste ->
Click File, on the drop menu -> Click Save As ->
Name the new PGN file -> Save
Close Notepad
Open next game in ChessPartner and repeat the process for each game in the database, which may contain ovedr 800 games.
