This is a new version of Battle Chess that is under development.  These guys need help funding their project.  It looks awesome!

I'm kinda bummed that we get the burly dudes with the hammers instead of the stone golems. Those were my favorite.

Ha ha yeah.  Overall it looks pretty cool though.  I hope they get funded and publish.  They mention they may port to iOS - so an iPhone/iPad option may come out too!

I've got the old DOS version on my laptop that I can play under DOSBox.  I also have one called Battle Chess 4000 which has what looks like a bunch of alien dudes as pieces.
