I get treated rudely all the time, but it's no excuse to call someone names. Every now and then I do slip and get emotionally involved, so I'm not perfect and for that, I apologize.

What in Gods name are you apologizing for. A: No one is perfect.
B: If anyone is rude to someone without cause. You are entitled to retaliate. Not that you have to. You can always treat them with the contempt thry deserve.
Just know its not you.

Neanderthals get a bad rap. They survived in ice age Europe for what? 100,000 years? They killed mammoths with pointed sticks and not much else. And they managed to mate with Homo Sapiens. We know this because people all over the world have between 2% and 5% Neanderthal genes. The only people exempt are those from sub-Saharan Africa who never migrated into Europe.
