Belarusian Flag Now Showing

So... for the last few days, one of the players I regularly play against in tournaments has been displaying a Belarusian flag, whereas before, during the Russia-Ukraine war, his flag was one of those "see our stance" types.

I've looked through some of the articles on Chess.com's flag stance in this regard, and I cannot find anything that has updated their position to now allow explicit display of a Belarusian flag. Can someone please shed some light on this change?
