Yes, freestyle is very interesting. I'd like to see some survey stats on this issue. I want there to be some freestyle tournaments otb for regular players.

I recently watched an interview on YouTube featuring Ben Finegold, where he pointed out, that the ordinary chess player couldn't care less about the top GMs and their obsession with freestyle chess, because the ordinary player finds it difficult just to be good at ordinary chess, without having to concern themselves with the variants. And to be honest, I have to agree with him.
Is anyone else interested in whats going on in Las Vegas?
