Best Black Openings For Beginners?

Hey everyone, I'm ranked 350 and I struggle to play black, when i play black i never win i draw about half the time and the other half, i win. I need some advice on what to play, i play the french but white tends to play the exchange. Should i learn the caro khan, kings indian or continue developing my knowledge on the french

You need to learn one basic opening for e4 and one for d4. You don’t have to learn it very deeply, just the basic structure. After that, you need to work on basic principles. The Italian is fine against e4. The Slav, Or Caro Kann are both fine against d4.
