can someone suggest best book on a6 slav defence.

Karpark
Haven't read it myself but I've read that Ian Sadler's book on the Slav in general (as well as his one on the Orthodox Queens Gambit) is extremely highly regarded. If you put 'Sadler' into the chess.com forum search engine you should find some discussion of this book.
