Best chess training format.

I once saw a training course some where, I don't remember where or how... but it has a video on a 1/4th of the screen, upper right, I guess, and a board all over the left hand. But the board was not on video, the video containing the instructor only, face or upper body.
Then, I remember, if you click the video forward, the position on the board changed accordingly, like if somehow, the notation was asociated with a certain time in the video.
But you could also interact with the board, pausing the video and play along your own variants or analysis.

Could anyone please tell me what format is that? Which company provides courses in the format described above?
