In your opinion:

(1) What is the best group(s) for improving at chess? This could entail analysis of matches or other things.

(2) What is the best group(s) for various other things, such as socializing, discussions, things of interest, etc.

GeniusKJ is a good guy OR he is a good angel spirit.

He teaches and coaches. He moderates groups and team matches and vote chess games. He is everywhere !!! And he NEVER sleeps. And he has a picture of his dog as an avatar! In his sare time he tutors math and chemistry. He is one of the real mysteries at chess.com.

And oh yea, he is the top dude at Chess.com University !! Don't mess with the KJ or he will take you to the 1 minute blitz woodshed. Surprised

I am familiar with Genius and a member of Chess.com University (although I haven't participated yet). I would like to throw down the gauntlet and challenge him to a bullet game. I will have 30 seconds and he can have 30 minutes for the game. Surprised

My video lessons group and Dan Heisman's Learning Center beat all other coaching groups for activities and improvement. Unless you wish to hire us as coaches, everything is free. There are reasons why we are the 3rd and 7th largest groups on chess.com in barely over 2 years, mainly the quality within.

I joined both groups a while ago, and just need to participate.  The link states:

Once you join the DHLC, you will receive a welcome message from the group admin on how to get started.

If I received a welcome message on how to get started, I can't find it. I would love to see a copy, if possible.
