Best GUI for Houdini 4 Pro 64

Thanks Mandy711. Although Houdini has a great online user manual that describes all of it's options, Fritz 14 has a lot of confusing settings and buttons!!

Fritz 14 GUI for your PC for more much powerful PC, Aquarium is the best.
So, you're saying that my best option on my computer is Fritz 14, correct?
Also, any help on best settings here:
Okay, I have purchased Houdini 4 Pro. I have a couple of questions if someone would be kind enough to explain.
How does one set up a position in the GUI? There seems to be no way to clear the board and input a position.
How does one start a game as the player of the black pieces?
What is the flashing and dimming of the Gui telling me?
Thanks :-)
Greetings everyone, I have Houdini 4 Pro x64 and I have played around with it in a few GUI's such as Deep Fritz 14 64Bit, Tarrasch and I've also thought about trying Arena and Winboard. My main objective is to 1) dominate engine tourneys and 2) best move analysis. I'm running Windows 7 Pro on an AMD Quad-core with 8Gb of RAM. I simply want to know how to squeeeze the absolute most out of it with every single move! I'm sort of new at engines and gui's, and therefore I'm a bit confused on exactly how to "tweak" the various gui settings to maximize Houdini's performance. I have also played around with Stockfish DD on my Android smartphone using the Droidfish app, as I understand that it's close to Houdini in rank.
Thanks for your help!
