Viewer, editor or both?

kvetka is really good lightweight pgn viewer and you can set engine time for example when you came a position engine scans 5 sec then after it auto stops this very nice power saving no need to left the engine brute force all time % 99 result would be same i think

this is what people call s**t <edited> post with 0 helping
I thought it was a very good post. The OP can't be bothered to mention what OS he's using? And if he's not using Windows, then I guess your post is the one that will be s**t.
There's a good free Windows PGN database app at;
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/store/p/pgn-explorer/9nblggh4nh19
Which has an analysis engine and you can view, filter, add and edit games.
SourceForge has this one for free
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pgn-chessbook/
I like the indented colored variations layout and the print/export the PDF layout is good
Also ChessX from SourceForge is good, it has loads of features but its a bit old fashioned UI design

Thanks, but that link is not functional now.
I have been using ChessX and have transfered the Chigorin Defence books 200 games into chessx. Then last night the file it saves into reads zero data and has obviously corrupted which is a pain in the arse.
My biggest issue with ChessX is that when you save the database it writes over the previous saved file, which if it becomes corrupted you lose all your work. Is there a program that works better and allows you to save it individualy, other wise i have to copy and paste it everytime.
What would you guys recommend?
