Bayonet attack
Best variation to counter kings indian

Here is a great resource that could help with your King's Indian Defense. It's a website that has a section dedicated to the KID with a wide range of resources like books, articles, videos, and game databases. They are all organized by topic and level, making it easy to find what you're looking for.
I found the video section particularly useful, it's full of links to videos on YouTube on the KID organized by variations, traps, lessons and games. At the Bottom are a few Links to 3 Videos by GM Varuzhan Akobian on Playing against the KID.
Here is the link: Bishop's Bounty King's Indian Defense Page
Best of luck!

There are many choices based on your playstyle, but like @Ultimate-trashtalker mentioned, the Saemisch is a good variation (which I use myself) which is solid as well as combative.

Those are great options and I prefer the Saemisch myself.
As a less risky alternative, consider the Bobotsov-Korchnoi-Petrosian System.
(It's less spectacular than it sounds, mostly a move-order difference )
There's also the Yugoslav system for a counter-fianchetto.
And the Hollywood Variation which is solid and sounds nice.
The Brazilian Defense utilizes an early Bc4 which is excellent too.
And if you want to get frisky, try the Six Pawns Attack, Mengarini Attack, and Kasparian Attack.
Hi,
I need some help with kings indian defence as white. I am a queens gambit player and I usually get awkward or positions I am not comfortable with when they play kings indian. What variation should I look up to simplify it to me? (I checked averbakh variation, seems cool but i dont like to play e4 so early)
Thanks.
