best way to use CT Art 4?

I have CT Art 4.0 with the Checkmate Combinations add on. what would be the best way to go over this program for the intent of burning tactical patterns into my skull

Just practice a lot, and understand why you got something wrong/missed something. 

It takes a lot of time pretty much.
