IMPORTANT :
I'm talking about just blitz and OTB chess here .
Sharp. Go for lines that just explode with tactical possibilities, where every move in the middlegame spawns muliple possible responses, and every response leads to a tactical quagmire... a cesspool of tactical possibilities.
Seriously do you really want to get into a slow manuver game where the FM finds a small advantage and milks it to a won ending when you can see the writing on the wall long before you finally resign, desperately hoping the FM makes a minor error that you can squeek into a draw or with a vain hope of a win?
I think you should go for a slow game, without too much tactical fireworks. Beat the FM by going for a positional advantage early in the game... perhaps a well placed pawn, that can give you the tempo you need to win the endgame with a pawn race. Or perhaps late middlegame play in which your pawn structure means everything between winning or losing.
Play what you feel comfortable with but go to the most aggressive end of your comfort zone. Don't try to be a different chess player but be the most tactical attacking one you can.
i have a plus score against an FM in otb blitz (he's 2332, if that matters)
Some advice: Play F A S T, and don't play theory. If you fall into their favourite lines ...you're toast!
There is a heck of a difference between blitz and over the board chess--what might work for one type of chess might not work for another type of chess.
What is the point of showing a game where one player did horrible mistake and lose?
If you dont know why black lose, I can tell you, 8.---- Nd4 ?? is a bad positional blunder,
What if your opponent doesnt do such positional blunder? What is the plan?
like this sharp,tactical,positional,maneuvered game maybe
Tigran Petrosian was known for positional play

He was an IM btw.May be you should show a game when a lost player does not 'blunder' and still loses.
Playing against FM's, without knowing their playing style, their repertoire or their rating.
Say match best out of 3 (high stakes) or just one game (high stakes).
Is it better go tactical, wild, sharp agaisnt them or slow, sturdy, positional, maneuvering to maximize your chances of winning the game !?
