Better is Just Better: Plain and Simple

Some time ago i wrote another thread about a friend of mine named David who went through a mental health crisis. He's back now, my chess partner is, and he has helped me crystallize my opinion about chess, studying, hard work and all that.   David does none of that and yet i am convinced he is several hundred points higher than me. Im a mere 1000 at 5 minute blitz and i really enjoy the no time limit games i play with David.   But it's a plain fact he is better than me and wins naturally an overwhelming number of times.  I never get tired of playing him because my own game is being improved by the mighty focus required just to get a passable game against him.  Some people are just better than others, plain and simple.  Studying has nothing to do with it.  i could study 10, 000 hours and still be where i was before, still losing to David regularly. Nature makes us in certain ways with certain abilities and limits. Im sure there are people even better than David.  You see studying can never prepare you for the infinite variabilities each game presents. There is no way to prepare so one must resort to natural talent and ability.. usually its the lessgifted who swear by thousands of hours of study. The immense majority of these folks are just flushing their time down the commode.  They'll never get much better, if at all, that's just the way of nature.

                  In 2 months you've created 10 threads. This is not a journalism site, or a debating society. Give it a rest.  Help a mod today.

if u dont like what i write dont read it cote and musacha.  I know my stuff is top notch, far above anything you can ever hope to muster. i know you are jealous as well.  I know you try to tear down a good thing as well.  Well, none of that is of any consequence to me.  Superiority always breeds jealousy and hatred.

You own the site or something. What is it im missing here? Why do u respond to my material at all?  You dont enjoy it, dont deal with it and you'll be happier.  Read some kindergarden level threads and youll be happy. You are out of your league Cote.

                   Out of my league??   Well now your talking.  The site belongs to all who participate properly. That means WE as a group can report those who don't behave. You spent the last 20 minutes insulting gg. When you lost THAT argument, you started THIS thread. A review of your other 8 threads will reveal the same pattern. You can't spread hatred and call people names here. When that's done by most of the other members its because people like YOU provoke them. 

i'm playing and studying this game 60 hours a week but i'm not sure if i'm getting any better.

Well, I guess David must be as good as God. (No offense here, if this turns out to be a sensitive comment).

if u are being facetious all cool. if u are serious all cool too cote.  i have beautiful girlfriends that love to hang out with me. I am not worried about you cote.  nor gg.  im good no matter what inanities u write in response to my brilliancies.
