Queen and rook covering lines 2 and 3 when king is checked at line 2 by queen. Mate in 1. But opponent decided to leave timer on for last 15 mins and at 6th min the opponent wins by my abandonment 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Yes, that is annoying.
Yeah, I know it was impossible to even consider the option of doing other stuff instead of staring at the board for all those minutes.

Or perhaps they were just spending time thinking about how to get out of a lost position and contemplating resigning. It's up to you to keep an eye on your game for the duration of the time you selected when you started the game and then deliver the final blow. No sympathy here
