At your elo, @That-one-bishop, knights are better, because they are trickier. But it always depends on the position.

I think bishop personally
Knights for closed positions, bishops for open positions. Also, bishops are locked to one color, so depending how many pawns you have on the respectively colored square of a bishop, it could possibly subtract material points. Knights can navigate between colors, which again, helps them in closed positions.
There has been a argument "bishops or knights?" I think that knights are better. Tell me what you think!
