Hi everybody does the bishops pair deserves sacrifice one pawn to achieve that?? in the both cases: 2 B vs 2 N 2 B vs B&N Thanks

I wouldn't sacrifice a pawn for the bishop pair. Being a pawn down the best you can do is force a draw in the endgame with the two bishops, so no.

Not usually, but with chess there’s ALWAYS exceptions. If the position is open and two bishops will have a lot of activity on open diagonals against two knights in that case it may very well be worth a pawn. For example: Once I had two knights and a an extra pawn against two bishops and I was the one fighting for a draw!
