Blindfold Chess - Struggling to visualize a quadrant of the board with dark and light squares!

Please feel free to share any information for patterns shapes or anything you use that help you with visualizing quadrants. I have been trying to learn blindfold chess for 2 weeks now, and I am still struggling to do this basic step!

what kinds of loops dark/light and if so please upload a screenshot and highlight what you are talking about please. Or just tell me which squares you are talking about that help you picture one of the quadrants.

Thats not the point the point is how did you train or what methods did you use to be able to have the board in your head?!

You need to play a lot of different chess games to recognise pawn structures better.

I can do about 15 moves in my head before I start losing it.

Also being really good and tactical can help you finish games in that less than 20 move range
