C'mon guys. The OP is rated a whopping 1000. Put the comment in perspective.
Blitz Chess is the only real Chess

FIDE defines rapid chess as any time control where (main time)+60*(increment) is between 15 and 60 minutes. Blitz chess is when that is less than 15 minutes. So 10+4 is blitz, and 8+8 is rapid.

@dax00: That was right, but isn't anymore. They changed the times in 2014.
"A ‘Rapidplay’ game is one where either all the moves must be completed in a fixed time of more than 10 minutes but less than 60 minutes for each player; or the time allotted plus 60 times any increment is of more than 10 minutes but less than 60 minutes for each player."
So chess.com with 11 minutes minimum for rapid has the same rules, except they're calculating with 40 instead of 60 moves.
Based on this logic, any sports players or instrument users all suck, because they all practices to hone their skills. If they were good they'd just know how to play.
It's a stupid argument.
If you had to think a long time before playing any notes at an instrument, that would mean you aren't really good at it.

Studying a lot is good. Playing a lot is good. Practing a lot is good. Thinking in the middle of the game is not good. You should make moves, not think.
Case in point: Firouzja played a seemingly natural 20. Nf1 against Carlsen. This is an auto-pilot move that most players would make. But it's a dubious move. And had Firouzja thought more about the position, he absolutely would've realized it.
Carlsen, by contrast, took his time thinking, and methodically punished the inaccuracy.
This is stuff you'll learn as you get better.
20. Nf1, 21. Nf3 ( sometimes Ng3) are strategic natural moves in Ruy Lopez main line but this 20. Nf1 become a bad move as he wasted one tempo with 13. a3?
Better could be 13. d5 Nb8 14 . b3 c6 15.c4 Nd7 16.Nf1 Qc7 17. Bg5
According to T60 latest Leela, these are inaccuracies,
13. a3?? white throw away slightly better position into equal position
20. Nf1?? white is in bad position with horrible pawn structure.

Only under time pressure will your true skills and knowledge be revealed.
It's the same principle of a school exam or any testing scenario, where you have to perform under a tight schedule and won't be granted near unlimited time.
That's why the majority of grandmasters and advanced players on here prefer Blitz games, because it requires a certain level of mastery to even compete at a lower level.
Anything above 15min chess is intended either for serious tournaments or beginners who are still honing their skills.
For human, of course.
Take out 3 min blitz games of top 10 human players vs 3 hour classical games of 1200-1500 rated human.
So 1600 less rating or if someone is 1600, then they can win easily in blitz vs someone who is zero.
Keep on working on your troll degree!

1634 is better than 94% of players.
OP's just a beginner, and possibly a troll.
These metrics are antiquated nonsense from a while ago and have long since been rendered moot.
We are all beginners, since we're all constantly learning and never stop to do so.
Try to build people up instead of putting them down, especially when you're in the same boat with them.
Putting them down?
Let's see. OP just started playing chess, he's not making any progress and yet he says that everyone who's better than him doesn't know how to practice chess.
And am I the one who are putting people down? Yeah, sure

Dude, we're not bots who can make a move in .1 seconds. Everybody practices, so by your logic also, Messi sucks, Neymar Jr. sucks, Michael Jordan sucks, and even Magnus Carlsen.

chess is supposed to be thinking for a long time to choose quality moves...
i think the op doesn't understand the point of it
