Blitz or Daily for practice?
Daily is not really practice. It's more like research plus a calculation exercise IMO.
The longer blitz games (like 10+10 or 15+0) are fine for practice, although at least a few times a month I'd prefer to get some games in that start with a minimum of 30 or 45 minutes.
You're allowed to use a database (as long as the games were played by humans).
And some software even generates opening reports for you, or lets you search by pawn structure, stuff like that.
Of course this probably isn't happening a lot in lower rated games, but even so, I'd say live games are actual practice and daily games are more like a calculation exercise (where you do some calculations then check them with the analysis board).
In my opinion, at your level blitz and bullet are probably downright harmful. Play nothing faster than action (15m) and preferably much longer. There is a 45/45 time control but good luck getting games.
The problem with playing blitz and bullet is they rely a lot on intuition rather than calculation and analysis.
