Shockingly, Pulp was born in 1915.
What? :D
Hey guys, I realize that with the extreme low level that this thread has drooped to, I'm opening myself up to your insults, but here is an interesting article I came across that is related to some of the things said previously...

- I'm a beginner at chess, have no "FIDE" rating and low ratings here. Interestingly, I have a higher than average IQ despite my relativley low chess ability - This article very briefly discusses some science behind the link between intelligence and chess ability.
I never thought that there could be a case on Chess.com where I'd find myself embarrassed to be Canadian lol.. But I guess there's a first time for everything!

Don't think so, is not your fault. If so, I would find myself embarrassed to be Spanish every time I go outside!
You guys went to far with the expert. You scared him away. I hope no one reported him, i miss it already. Finally someone around here with a little intellect and who knows how to entertain some people.
Dear blastforme: You don't need to be ashamed. It was just one Canadian, not you or anyone else. And here, you can't even tell with 100% accuracy that who is who and where he resides. Regarding the article, yes, IQ does not correlate directly with chess ability. I have myself found some people with high IQs who suck at chess. Cheers!
1916 to be correct.
