I don't want to play with russians player anymore, please BLOCK all the russians players on chess.com, do what all the countries are doing! BLOCK all the games from Russian Federation servers, thank you!

Never make sport political. It does not help at all. Especially where chess is such a big sport. I know as a child and teenager I lived through sactions against South Africa. We are the best in rugby in the world (3 World Cup wins) and rugby is our countries most successful sport but were not allowed to play sport internationally.

First, every thing you think you know comes from media sources that are straight up pushing propaganda on all sides at this point. You truly have, quite literally, not a single clue of what’s going on in Ukraine and Russia.

Second, you want to ostracize an entire group of people who have absolutely nothing to do with what you thinks going on over there because of what you read on your news app?

Third, who made you King? You can’t even formulate a proper sentence but think you can understand political and foreign affairs?

Fourth, let’s start by banning all Americans from chess.com for the hundreds of thousands of outright murders of Middle Eastern children and women over the past 30 years while illegally occupying their countries and bombing them with drones under the Obama and Biden administration (I left the Trump administration out because he was the first US President since Jimmy Carter to not engage in violence in a foreign country - but he said rude things on Twitter so he’s literally Hitler 2.0). Or how about ban all African countries for human trafficking and slave trading and slave labor? Or how about…

I mean get a grip guy. Like seriously, find a hobby or something. Also by the looks of your Italian flag I say we go ahead and ban all Italians from the servers for 70 years of genocide and terror by Mussolini. You may say it was a long enough time ago that people should move on, but I would be willing to bet the families of the victims by your former leader feel different. While we’re at it, let’s ban all English players from the server too for their genocide of Irish people and continued illegal occupation of Free Ireland, and also their genocide and tyranny over Indians and murders of countless Indian people in their imperialistic takeover. Heck if we’re going to do that, we should also ban all Chinese players for genocide and torture of Muslims and Assyrians in confinement camps for decades, right? After all, according to your massively overdeveloped brain the citizens of made up countries with made up border lines are responsible for the actions of a few politicians trying to manipulate the stock market to make money and getting help from “journalists”, right? Surely you know of all this and aren’t simply riled up about Ukraine because Mommy CNN and Daddy Fox is spoon feeding it to you every morning while you eat Cheerios, right?

Viznik. Very well stated. I'm English. Currently working in Russia. I've been a Chess.com member for 14 years. If this were to happen it would impact upon many, many innocent players -like me, Around me, ordinary people are adversely affected, primarily economically. Such sanctions destroy the lives of normal hard-working working class level but  has no knock-on effect on Russian leaders.

I also received a request to ban all russian players from the tournament I organised. I refused, but said (as the FIDE) that if one of the players would make pro war statements or defend what the russian governement did I would shurely ban the person.

And one of the russian player soon changed his flag and made a comment on his site, which is clearly against the war. So, what if I had banned him earlier? That is not the way to react here, I think and FIDE thinks the same. It just would be a form of clan liability which, I think, we should have left behind us.

It is really amazing what people do for clout. Instead of getting us banned, I think you should focus on getting your rapid rating to 500. It is 257 right now! And you talk like you're some 2650 rated GM.
