I don't get this deal with blocking... I mean, unless you actually have a proper disagreement with someone rather than a difference of opinion on the forums. I was blocked recently by someone I exchanged a mere couple of comments with, didn't have a proper disagreement with and have never echanged personal messages or notes with. Just a couple of comments on one thread. How stupid is that! Like I'm bothered... because, I was actually going to go and start messaging and noting them after two comments on one thread... Really don't see the point

I think it's reasonable to block members who are abusive to avoid being matched with them in future games.
You've got a point there, didn't realise blocking would prevent games against them in matches.

It's not true.
Blocking only prevents being paired in Live Chess.
Matches are presented in rating order, and blocking cannot change that.
I have over 100 blocked players on this site. And I am blocked from many players. Don't worry about it, just let it go. in 1 year, it won't matter. :)
