Have you ever played a player with such bad lag..that it makes you blunder? (typically in 1 minute games)
For example: i played a player who was 1345 rated which is lower than my rating of 1900 we played a 1 minute bullet game...this should be easy right?
well..first off he was slow at making moves ..and like always i was premoving like a madman but no matter how fast i moved he somehow gained 2 or more seconds on the clock...I'ts like playing someone that has 1 minute plus 2 second increment...now i know he's only 1345 rated ...but when your moving as fast as you can and trying not to blunder at the same time and also trying to keep up with there time which doesn't seem to be moving at all ..when your time is ticking down faster it's actually pretty hard...sometimes the lag is so bad that even a lower rated player can seem like he's playing at a much higher level than you.
I played a player with 0.9 seconds left on the clock while i had over 5 seconds ...again he was 1500 rated but he managed to keep moving 15 moves in 0.9 seconds and at the same time i was premoving and somehow i lost on time...
It's very frusterating playing opponents with so much lag...pls share your storys and how do you cope with it?
