I love horses. We have a stable here to ride them on the beach....tho' mainly for tourists. I watched the festivities on TV for the Velmont Stakes earlier this month too....so exciting....and I was so happy that horse won !

When I was young I studied all of Fischer's games at least twice. Of the very small number of losses, one that I really liked was by Kovacevic. Here you will see Fischer confidently playing the Bohemian 4. a3

I was just curious 'cuz BF brazenly called out 3...d6 (in The Great KGA Fischer Defense) a double exclamation and theoretical novelty.
In a book called "1000 TN !! The Best Theoretical Novelties" they say the earliest novelty was Karpov-Miles (Bugojno 1978) 4. Nc3 !
I would say a highly-regarded book that specializes in the study of TN's would definitely overshadow anything BF could call out, especially when he called it out for his own move !! (double exclamation).
....and in this book, by Chess Informant, there have been (60) TN winners. VA has won it (9) times....the most by any player. AK is second w/ (8).
Do you know how many times BF won ?....zero. That's right, zero. IOW's, his creative contribution is slightly south of the equator....at very best.
The panel of judges deciding the best TN's are a Who's-Who of chess names. Yes, you would recognize every single name.
