Judit Polgar is strongest female chess player. I want to bring light to why she is so strong.
Did you know that Bobby Fischer stayed at the Polgar's home when he was running from USA? Yes he did, and he played and analyzed many chess and chess 960 games with Judit Polgar. After Bobby Fischer's stay, Judit Polgar won everything for years to come.
And the result of a grandmasters impact on such a young mind is the now top rating of Judit Polgar. Would she have been over 2700 rating if it was not for Bobby Fischer? I do not think so. Bobby Fischer lifted Judit Polgar that extra mile by showing her how to think like those absolutely best. And he did so in the right time in her life.
So here you have it, another contribution from Fischer to chess: The making of the strongest female chess player.
Where,oh where, would we even start with that claim? Cause and effect in extremely difficult to prove, and rightly so. That kind of argument is inductive, and those arguments will never give you certainty. The best you can do is present a mountain of data showing how Polgar's performance is tied to Fischer's direct intervention, and that is next to impossible. Your claim is a great big nada.
This is a troll thread.
This original post's assertion is simply incorrect.
Judit Polgar was the top-rated female player in the world by 1988, at 12 years old, and already in the world top 100. She was, at that point, already being described as "one of the greatest chess prodigies in history". She was rising nearly 200 points a year.
Fischer did not meet and stay with the Polgars until 1993 - 5 years later. By that point, Judit was already a potent Grandmaster who had scored wins against world Top-10 players.
Bobby, long-retired, would have certainly taught Polgar a few things about chess, yes. However, young Judit - rising the ranks in a newer, stronger generation of players - would have certainly taught him a few things, as well.
