Bobby Fischer is one of the best chess players to ever live and people argue that if engines existed back in the day then he would be higher rated than both Garry and Magnus and would be the undisputed goat.
What yall's thoughts on this? Especially because I believe if engines existed at that time then Bobby would have been a weaker player because as we know that Bobby was scared of Russians spying on him and tried to stay off from all the telephones and connections, if we are considering this ideology of Bobby then wouldn't he be a weaker player solely because other players ( like Spassky ) would use engines to overtake him which would probably crash Bobby's confidence.
