Is there a name for this unusual checkmate pattern? It’s not the same as the Two Knights Mate. Here the two knights control the complementary diagonal squares adjacent to the king like bishops would. It’s very satisfying in that bishops on the same squares as the knights could also deliver mate, although bishops would control the opposite squares.
