Hi,I just finished  Winning Chess Tactics or Juniors by Lou Hays , which is a tactic book with 534 1-2-3 combinations. I'm ready to advance but cant find a good follow-up book that has 4 and 5 move combinatins. His advanced book called Combination Challenge is to hard to follow up with. i prefer books since i can take them to work and do them on breaks. I wish there were a BOOK that had tactics in order of difficulty like ct-art and the only book that came the closest to it was Chess School Volume 2, but problems are 90% mates and 10% material. Seems like the other books are too hard or simply just a bunch of crap put in a book. I know there is someone that's been where i am and found a solution to help me continue my study. Thanks for your genuine help chess family!

Timothysmall,

John Nunn did make a lot of good puzzle books. Perhaps you could try John Nunn's Chess Puzzle Book or 1001 Deadly Checkmates and there's a lot more. I have never read any of his books, but there is a app in my chess software Chessmaster 10th Edition that has John Nunn's collection of puzzle's. Starting from simple mate-in-two's up to six, and other types of puzzles. You can get most of John Nunn's books at Amazon.com
