Trying to improve an element of a game, I bought a book by a master. The author, like many, used a lot of game examples to make his point. One or two per each page. I'm a low intermediate player. My question is how to best learn from this book? Do I go page by page , working through each of the game examples until I get a reasonable idea of the point the author is making? Or have any of you found a way to work through a book like this and grasp the learning points without breaking each page and each example? I ask because it is going to take a lot of study time to do the former.
