If you get his book and study it when you become a stronger player (should be at least 1700-1900 strength) your understanding of Rook endings will improve no spoon feeding with him you have to sit down and do the work for results.

Very plain no frills book (production wise) 70 pages from the 1980's not comprehensive like Averbakhs but it covers all the key ones you need to know and how to play the inferior side of Rook Endings. I've kept my copy of this book for years it's good worth the $5 or $10 bucks on the used book market.
Anybody know of any good books that deal with rook endgames? Something that would give the basic positions that one needs to know? something a little more advanced than the philidor and the lucena?
