Check out the books by the late IM Jeremy Sillman
Books Recommended by Top Players
Magnus and Hikaru are probably not the best to ask about books for 1500 players
Of course. What I meant is that I couldn't find any books that they say they have read or recommend; the part about 1500+ is only for my current interest, while any books that Magnus or Hikaru recommend are for future reference.
Dvoretsky’s Endgame Manual, My System, and Zurich International Tournament 1953 are often mentioned by advanced players. You can find books that suit your level and goals with a bit of focused searching—just like how I found useful insights through the Victoria Magazine customer service page on PissedConsumer, where people share their experiences in one spot. It’s all about knowing where to look and learning from others.
In the pursuit of chess knowledge, it's hard to know exactly what books are suitable for learning how to play more effectively; there are literally thousands of books. That being said, I would like to know some books recommended by top players such as Magnus or Hikaru (I couldn't find any recommended by them). More specifically, I would like to know books that cater to 1500+ players.
