@ziryab: Your example is a description of a causal relationship, but it is not a logical argument.
I suppose that's an important distinction. But wouldn't most slippery slope arguments be considered simple observations by both speakers and those persuaded?
If we let government manage health care, we will become socialists.
Simple cause -- effect to most Americans.
(I realize that as a nation we reveal appaling deficiencies in our factual grasp of the world and in our logic.)
I make the distinction between a hypothesis and an argument.
If it is testable, then is it a hypothesis and the result of my brain.
If it is detestable, then is an argument against the result of your brain.
@zborg: my game of Daeth was the cause of his demise. He accused me of cheating and you were throwing oil onto the fire of the discussion between Daeth and me. In that discussion he told that he was using engines all the time.
Back to the discussion about B.I and Lilov: should I not get a wiki page as the man that played the game that made it clear that Daeth was cheating?
Should I not live on for ever in the memories of you all in eternity for that?
I closed Daeth.
