Bots in rapid in the 1100s.

My rating has dropped from an over-my-head 1300+ to stuck in 1150 range in rapid. I been suspecting bots based on the rate of play and sudden solid fundamentals of 80% of my matches this month. Today I decided to play up the intermediate computer bots when it hit me. David is who I've been playing more than half the time. same style, same vision, same limitation. In rapid I have had to rate at 1600+ to beat him which is hard for me. This is at so called 1130 - 1170 ranked opponents. They're not supposed to see my ham fisted tactics so easy, haha. But they are because they play exactly like David. A few months ago, anybody under 1240 would implode if you let them. Now so many 1100+s are so hyper aggressive but smart, there's no way they wouldn't be up near 1400. I just beat David with a rate-me of 2000 but might have lost with the clock ticking. Is anybody else seeing this kind of added ability at lower ratings?
