Bots not playing at full strength

Why are normally high-rated bots playing like beginners?

They're giving away pieces. The 3200 and the Magnus bot. Not sure that I.T aren't messing me around.

The bots are broken right now I normally play the engine bot around 1600 but now its playing at a 100 level and changing the strength does nothing its always stuck at 1600 but plays like junk

Bots can be programmed in different ways.

It's actually easier to program them to make mistakes randomly. Otherwise, they can be programmed to play the wayward Q attack and so forth. Thy are not usually programmed to play like weak humans. There's no point playing a bot that's programmed to play a stupid opening, if you're a beginner yourself. it makes more sense to use them to learn openings from. When you're slightly stronger, try to beat the bots that play badly. If you can easily beat a bot, you shouldn't be playing it because you will larn nothing from it.

Incidentally, many bots change the way they play. They can learn from you and if you play weakly they might adjust downwards too.

There are four top-level bots, Magnus Carlsen, Capablanca, Tal, and Paul Morphy that are playing like Martin. The others are playing like ordinary top-level bots. I tried on two different devices, a computer and a phone, and had the same issue. Does anyone know what's going on?
