Brain too slow for blitz lol

I’m a decent rapid player where I have some time to think but I’m a disgraceful blitz player lol. I have my openings down fairly well, and my end game is pretty good (relative to how long I’ve been playing regularly), but it’s the mid game where I need the most improvement I believe. What part of a blitz game would you say is the most important out of the 3? Clearly all are important, but I’m just trying to get an idea of what the consensus is in terms of what will improve my blitz game the most. Any thoughts?

The longer the game, the more important calculation becomes. The shorter the game, the more important pattern recognition becomes. They are different skills and this will be reflected in your ratings.
