Brilliant new players

I often find that non titled players who have a rating of 2200+, who often defeat the many FMs,NMs.... have very few games in their stats, around 30~100. Every time I  see a titled player getting beaten, I check the opponents stats and find that he/she is fresh on the site. Where were these guys hiding before?

What is NM? I have just heard of FM, IM, and of of course GM

NM is National Master. CM is Candidate Master.

PM is Personal Master

DM is Dungeon Master

HM is Hoover Master

MM doesn't mean anything.
