Bullet chess...Mouse, tablet, or phone?

How do you play your bullet chess games? I play on my phone personally, but haven't tried mouse yet. What method works for you?

Mouse mostly. Sometimes I do okay on the iPad, especially since the chess.com iOS app upgraded to v.3. On the phone, I always lose. The screen is too small for my fat fingers.

I'll have to try iPad next. I have iPhone 6, I do like the size of the screen for playing since it's a quick scan.

I think phone's are pretty decent to be honest.  I play on a god-slow mousepad.  But there are better ways out there.  I found tablets to be pretty slow too.

If you're going to play bullet on PC, get a gaming mouse. Low-quality cordless mice are a no-no-no if you're at all serious about winning. I would be interested to know what equipment Nakamura uses when playing online.

My iPhone seems so easy to move on. I tried laptop with no mouse and it was pretty bad. iPad is okay, but the small area of the phone seems best for me.

Indeed, using laptop without mouse is terrible, using good quality mouse is the best and safest way. On mobile devices with touch screen, shaking fingers won't help you much and surely if you are playing exciting bullet games, it'd be shaking a bit... :))

No way I could play anything faster than blitz on anything other than a computer with a mouse. I play blitz on my phone but I play a lot better with a mouse. On the browser version you can premove your recaptures which you can't do on the Android app. I like the analysis mode on the app though and that seems to be missing from the browser version.

Mouse is undoubtedly the most efficient and optimal for me.

but anyone ever tried a digital sctive stylus on phone or tablet? I was wondering if it is even better than mouse, u could play from an amaca for example without covering the chessboard with your hand while moving..

Bullet is not chess but a video game.

So play it with a joystick

devansh_rc

Best way to play is with a touchpad on a laptop

I don't really know... But at first I've used mouse, and it was comfortable for me. Now I play on the phone, but I think it's better to use a mouse.

can only premove 1 at a time on the phone or tablet though. lose on time a lot.

Good to know I'm not the only one who has this problem.  When I played on a laptop w/ a mouse i acould paint 1/4 the board red with premoves...  on phone, it's one premove at a time.

Ziryab

iPad is the fastest in my experience, although I thought mice were quicker a few years ago.

Ziryab

Premove is how you make 25 moves in seven seconds, as I did on Thursday.

cellomaster8
Technically I think a premove is 0.1 seconds so you could possibly fit 10 in one second. And more premoves can be stacked on computer than on phone
Darkness_Destroyer

I play on chromebook with touchscreen grin.png I can move sooo fast
