Bullet on mobile or desktop

Is playing Bullet on desktop faster than on mobile?
I generally just play on mobile and it seems I can hardly get beyond 36/40 moves a game before running out of time. FYI: rating is on average around 900.
If desktop is best (probabley also less addictive:)), best consider a gaming mouse?
