Camera angles on chess games

when you play chess games on chess.com, you see the board at a birds eye view. Personally, I don't like it but Chess.com should make an option of different camera angles.

Interesting idea.

Those 3d views are really annoying on a flat screen I think. A ferw chess programs tried that, Not sure it ever really caught on in the mainstream.

It's a very good idea, I would agree with rooperi though. A chess program on my computer, chess titans, uses it, it isn't the same as playing on a real board, not at all...

where is the latest wish list

Chessmaster has this too; I find it distracting and always use 2D as a result.  It's just personal preference, 3D on a screen isn't the same as looking at a board.  You could just set up an actual board with the same position and play on that for the ultimate effect; that's how I practise for OTB vs the Chessmaster.

I prefer the birds eye view. in the three d view it sometimes covers moves, and I miss them.
