Yes. Chess.com is an open system. But when the person does he stops being an average person. See page 114 of my latest book:

you lot just don't see what George is saying

what he lacks in IQ, he more than makes up in physique, style and panache

I like that word "Panache".

Love it also. My g/f introduced me to sour cherries with my cream on mine.

Honestly, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to MS Word, saved it on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), when I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "Kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells."

His ex - girlfriends.

haha I wish, Facebook.  If you "like" the page Suicide Girls you too can get thier daily updates, no pornogrophy just alot of tattoo's and funky red hair types.  I personally wouldn't get a tattoo but understand the whole celebration of youth aspect to it.  They have a pay site I think but I spend all my money on Chess subscriptions..

I'm almost 1700 in real life, 3 years ago I was about 1000, I'm sure I can add another 350 elo within my lifetime Wink

I've come ridiculously close to breaking 2000, my current ELO is 1998. I remember 3 years ago when my rating was 998, then it dropped, then it skyrocketed to 1100, as low ratings can change a LOT.

There's no such thing as "average". We're all equal just like there are no differences between races other than their skin color. Skin color is randomly generated by racist gnomes living in the womb who want to divide us so they can more easily conquer us. Crime, test score, STD, athletic ability statistics are all created by the same racist gnomes to delude us into thinking that races are different. Everyone is exactly the same. A guy with Down's-syndrome, a black NBA player, a Russian Chess master, all exactly the same. Those who say otherwise are in allegiance with the racist gnomes. Any attempt to recognize behavioral patterns among groups of people is also an act of Gnome Racism. Serious. Believe in yourself.
Kumbaya, my Lord.... kumbaya!

Seems a lot of people overestimate their abilities compared to the average.

Yes, there have been other psychological studies where it shows that people tend to be overly optimistic even in the face of facts saying otherwise.  That's one reason I decided even though it seems to me most should be able to break 2000, that there may be that fundamental bias, and that in the face of a ~1500 average adult tournament player I don't have a good case to argue otherwise.

A cool story indeed. For an average guy, could I be mistaken and interpret the story above to be on the extreme of the one sided aspect?

Of course you love it but it is completely the opposite of you high intellect confident social creatures.

Now that is funny. People without any knowledge of themselves adopting the above information to the extent of believing that it is pretty much talking as if it were you.

All of you that are guilty, may wish to let go of their brilliance throttle for a little while.

Funny stuff. mr average here enjoyed greatly. Ty
