can i do it?

hey guys i know many people here ask about how to become gm or im and .......... but i want to ask in a diffrent way and i hope some exprienced tournoment players here on chess.com will help me ( sorry if my eng is not so good) actually i am around 2000 fide rated and also i am 17 so i dont want ask about how to become a +2800 player or something i just want to ask for someone like me at this age is it possible to become a gm or im?( i know do it😐) but my main quastion is how hard should i study for it? like 8 hours per day for 5 years or something ? i want to have a true vision of how hard i should improve my chess and how long does it take ? note: i have just started studying chess 6 month ago and have a coach for 3 month now and i was rated around 2000 in my firsr tournoment
