Can new chess openings be created?
I adduced some changes to my original opening(the one who was supposed to be a variation of the Tartakower attack),this is one of the many variations that i came up with(i changed It multiple times creating like 12 variations of the opening)
can someone tell me if this opening as black already exists...
here i have it against the London system...
you may need to flip the board...
I recently found on YouTube that Chess Master Anna Crumbling has created a new chess opening and she called it the 'Cow opening'(This opening is shown above). I took it as a joke but I am thinking that is it possible that some grandmaster may create a new theory and create a new opening I mean all the openings or gambit we have are created by somebody so If someone do it nowadays, so will their opening be recognised as book moves
No. An opening isn't about both sides making nice patterns.
If this photo is the cow, I been using this since I learned it in 2016 from a Grand Master in Colorado Springs. Only it's stopped short, like they tried to do the same opening but failed. To finish the opening move the Bishops to D2, and E2. Than Castle on the king side. No one created a new opening, they failed at finishing a opening
I know names of allmost all opening but i have no idea what Tartakower attack could be
