yeah Telestu that has happened to be about 50 times today already, i want to find at least ONE way to win...

Oh, you want to win? I thought we were talking about draws.

Here's another way to draw.

ok i just lost again. im not playing it again until someone tells me how to play a custom set up vs the computer on pc (so i can post my game)

HOW DO I DO THIS??

In the forum, click the little chess board above where you type to post messages.

Click Load FEN

Paste this:

8/6p1/5kP1/2p2P2/ppp3K1/P1P5/1P6/8 b - - 0 1

Make the moves you want to show us

Click Insert

A grey chessboard will appear as a placeholder in your forum post.

Click post

thanks but no, i could copy the moves from my phone but thats a lot of work.

are you saying there is no way to play the computer from a custom position on PC? Because I can do it easy from my phone...

Darylprater

ive had the computer get stalemate or win 100 different ways in this position, i haven't won 1 game. NO im not looking for more stalemates

It's trivially simple to make a move twice. Would take an extra 1 or 2 seconds after each move.

 Yes, there is a way.

Step 1: Write a chess playing program.
Step 2: Write a GUI
Step 3: Paste the FEN or manually set up the position (since you programed the GUI you'll know how to do this!)
Step 4: Play against the engine.

Are you sure? Here's another stalemate I bet you haven't done yet.

really? chess.com does this with their app... i just wish i could do the same thing in the website so i could show you all what i am doing... its so weird that you can do this on the app but you on the PC

Darylprater

yep ive done that stalemate about 50 times today too. as long as the black king stays in front of your pawn its impossible to win. This lesson is flawed

Step 3.5 : hack chess.com webmaster status, and add option to play the engine you programmed.

No, even if it goes behind the pawn it's impossible to win

Darylprater

So I guess you agree that the phone app can do more than the website can do. I just want to point out that NO ONE here has given one game where white can win.

I will spend the next few years studying this game, but I have to go right now, ill spend hours and hours copying the games from my phone to prove you all wrong.

This game loses or draws for white everytime, my phone proves that. it will takes hours to copy all the games but ill prove you all wrong when i do

You underestimate this endgame. You think you can copy it in hours? Haha, no way dude. Try years and years.

i tired that too, my computer ran to the 8th rank and jumped in front of my pawn, and got a stalemate. ive played this game like 200 times today and lost every game. you all put your computers on easy

If you're losing the stalemates you're doing it wrong. You should be resigning the stalemates for a double forfeit bye. That way you'll gain rating points but be paired down next round. You have to consider the tournament standings.

or i could learn how to win them here. But not 1 person have linked a wining game yet for white

That's because they're all draws. Like this one:

Darylprater

i never had that game. but i guess you see now that white can never win in this position. chess.com needs to do something with this lesson.

ok if black plays completely random moves like a 3 year old kid you can win. I can win too. Link just ONE game where you win with white playing the computer on hard, It's not possible

It's about the journey, not the destination.
