From a brief look at some of your recent games, I see you play both at slow and fast time controls, which is OK. But even in the slow time controls, you seem to be blitzing through the moves.
In the slow time controls, I think you would benefit from following a simple thought process in which you do the following:
- Try to see what your opponent is trying to achieve with the move. Do they have any checks, potential captures and threats? (Threats are things like forks, skewers, double attacks, obvious mating threats.)
- Try to see whether you have any checks, captures and threats against your opponent. When you see a good move, do you check whether it is safe? Do you check whether you can still find a better move?
Possibly, you should take a break between a blitz or bullet game and a slow game, so the feeling that you must respond quickly diminishes a bit. Or if you plan a slow game after playing a fast one, first play a slow game against a bot just to settle into the slower tempo again?
Finally, do you analyse your games for the types of mistakes you make? If yes, do you also have a study plan that allows you to improve the weak points you find when analysing your games?
