The line up is totally unsexy...with 4 Russians,a Bulgarian, an Azerbaijani and an Armenian with Anand thrown in to make up the numbers. So embarrasing for the west that they only have Carlsen at the summit of world chess.

I caught the games too late today, I thought they started at a later time in the day. So I only caught a bit of the live stream, maybe only a press conference. It seemed half in English half in Russian and yet there is supposedly a choice of languages on their live stream. Would be better with the choice of language, and hopefully they have some livelier presenters than the two females I saw presenting, or maybe they are just for the press conferences.
