now: send the money manually to support@chess.com via paypal and give your username with the money. then send a message to a staff member, just use the contact form. tell them your cc username, tell them the email-adress/ paypal-account the money's coming from. this will make them upgrade your account faster. that's basically it.
sadly chess.com does not want to give this detail on the premium membership page. would be way easier.

oh you're right there. but ... you see, chess.com is not about that. it seems to be a minor problem, not enough people leaving/ not joining / downgrading their accounts due to this. most of us use the workaround. and that's why staff does not care. same with messages I would refer to as advertizing even though I'm a paying member. staff just tells you "it's not advertizing" even though you get for instance a message telling you about some additional feature you could get if you pay money ...

well, it's a chess.com issue when it comes to mentioning that on the page where you can choose your premium membership, right? a short hint, a short note, saying that German customers should send their money through this above mentioned adress and make contact to staff to tell them. wouldn't be that much work to do. again and again you have to help fellow Germans to get payment done. to me it would just be a sign that cc really cares for us as customers to mention that.
