Cannot view many lessons anymore with gold

Hi everyone,

I have been subscribed as a gold member for a while, and I have been studying regularily with my 25 tactics and 5 lessons/day. After chess.com did this app/web restructuring and update, all my history was deleted, and access to many lessons that I used to have access to before is gone, and they have only a bunch of amatuer lesson available for gold, while if I want to view the lessons that I viewed before and many others, I have to upgrade to Diamond! Is this some kind of joke? Did anybody go through this or is it just me? 

The old lessons are viewable in the website Lessons tab by clicking on "Old Lessons".

how about in the new app? I only use the app. 

The app? There are two. The Android app and the IOS app.   I don't use the IOS app but I do use a browser app on my Android phone to look at the website and the lessons.  I prefer it.

The new Android app doesn't have access to the old lessons and the feature benefits for the Gold membership has been for the Beginner Interactive lessons for a while and the app upgrade aligns that with the site.

As @notmtwain mentioned, you can still access those on the website through a mobile browser.

Is there a way that we can download the old Android chess app?

There are some APK archive sites if you trust them. You might ask support if the is a more supported way to get it.

That said, at some point the site will probably disconnect the API the old app uses and it will stop working.
